What Smart BD reads, what it keeps, and who can see it
Smart BD researches companies from public sources, keeps everything it used so a result can be checked and reproduced, and shows your analyses only to your organization.
How information moves through an analysis
You provide
Two company names and websites, the partnership question, and optional discovery notes.
We read
Public web pages about both companies: filings, official sites, news and trade press. No private databases, no logins.
AI does
Summarizes evidence, rates rubric items citing evidence IDs, and writes the narrative. It never sets a score.
We keep
The case, every evidence item, every rating and the result, so a rerun gives the identical answer.
Our commitments
Your analyses stay in your organization
Every table is protected by row-level security in the database, so an account can only read the cases it is allowed to. Administrators manage who has access.
Documents are not stored
Document upload is switched off in this version. Discovery notes you type are saved with the case; an attached file keeps only its name and size.
AI never computes the decision
Scores, confidence, revenue ranges and recommendations come from a deterministic engine with published rules. See the methodology.
No tracking cookies
No analytics or marketing cookies, on purpose. Sign-in and your cookie choice are the only cookies set without asking, and Global Privacy Control is honored.
